The PI GmbH from Karlsruhe (Germany) produces the P-876 DuraAct TM, a piezoelectric patch transducer which is now more flexible.

The P-876 DuraAct TM patch transducers offer the functionality of piezoceramic materials as sensors and actuators as well as for electric charge generation and storage. Used as bender actuators, they allow high deflections. Other possible operation modes of DuraAct TM transducers are as high-dynamics sensors or for energy harvesting.
